So it starts again...

Hello, hello!

As you have gathered, I haven't updated my "other" blog in a while.  There's an EXCELLENT reason - I've forgotten the password.  This is very unlike me.  No, truly, it is.  I am prideful of the fact that I am forgetful, but NOT of the passwords I set up for myself in this password-driven world.  So, it came as a shock to me when one day as Nathan and I were on the road in Watkins Glen, NY, in October that I couldn't log on to share with you all the many wonderful sights and sounds of our Autumn journey.  This was a sign.  I was already unhappy with the platform I was using so this gave me an excuse to actually create a website that encompasses our travels, trials, and best of all MY BOOKS!

That's right, I've got some BOOKS!  You know me, I've always loved to write - even though a high school teacher told me I wasn't very good at it.  Well, poo on that!  The best part of life is that it exists to put into books.  And now there are these wonderful devices that aren't much bigger than a magazine that you can download hundreds of books onto and get lost in worlds of the deep, bright, and toothpaste-ey.  Yup.  I said toothpaste-ey.  Have you ever thought of taking a swim in a Bubble Gum Toothpaste River?  Have you ever NOT brushed your teeth one day?  Well, let me tell you, there's trouble if you decide to not brush AND instead go swimming in a Bubble Gum Toothpaste River as my friend Bobby Brusher has discovered.  For a better idea of what he goes through, pop over to my "Books" page and take a gander...watch out for the Cavity Creatures, though, they LOVE non-brushers...

Oh, and for some more comic relief, check out the uber-hilarious comic strip my best friend and travel buddy extraordinaire, Meg G., has created on the "Travels with Nuts" page...pretty much everything that she has put into the comic has happened to the three of us on our travels.  No joke.  And, if there's anything that needs explaining, just holler for us via the "Contact" page.

Here's to writing, reading, exploring, and living for fun!
